Let it all out.

i want that my friends think that i’m crazy kind of love, that reckless kind of love, that wake up early make you breakfast kind of love, that crack open my life and say look you gotta see this kind of love, forget the shallow stuff, i want that deepness kind of love, that i wanna stay up late and tell you all my secrets kind of love, that every time i see you i though of pieces kind of love, i want that staying next to me kind of love, that you are my destiny kind of love, that no matter what happens you’ll always get the best of me kind of love, that you get my heart and my mind, this world gets the rest of me kind of love, that invest in me kind of love because you already know that i’ve invested in you kind of love, that when you come home upset you don’t have to say nothing i already know what to do, kind of love. i want love.

I dunno what I’m saying right now, I’m pretty drunk but I just gotta say. After everything, I love you. You. You. You. You.

It took me 15 days to muster the courage to finally watch the last ever episode of one tree hill. season 9 episode 13. I tried watching it right away but after the first five minutes, the thought that this was really going to be it, that this was the last ever episode of this show I grew up with and never gave up on even when everyone was telling me that it got boring ever since Lucas and Peyton left or even after season 4, was too much. I kept on prolonging it until today.  Why today? I guess I just realized it was time for me to grow up and finally let this part of my life end.

That last episode was pretty much the expected ending I had in my head. It was perfect. From Haley passing on the box of wishes she and Lucas had as kids to Jamie, Gavin Degraw singing I Don’t Wanna Be for the anniversary of Tric,Brooke finally being completely happy and Julian buying her her old house, to Jamie growing up to become a member of the Ravens. It was all perfect. It was the perfect ending to the show I love.

So good night, one tree hill. Yeah, I think good night is appropriate. Good night means that although season 9 episode 14 or season 10 episode 1 won’t happen, we’re always gonna have this show in our dreams. I’ve had so many possibilities, so many achievements and failures, creations, mistakes, experiences, that were based from or inspired by this show. But most importantly, I’ve had so many dreams that were inspired by this show. And at some stage of my life in the past, some of my dreams did come true and I’m sure that it wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for this show.

So good night, one tree hill. Thank you for inspiring me for the past 9 seasons and letting me believe in my dreams.
